| Sir Mojar approached the Terran delegation with an official request to explore the Proxima system and get to the bottom of the Exterminator situation. He then departed the Ring, alon with the Peacekeeper ships, to rendezvous with the fleet at Cappernau. |
| Ivana Parva has made loud demands to the council that Sir Mojnar be stripped of his status as Peacekeeper Commodore, and that a Peacekeeper battleship be dispatched to Sol. However, beauracratic blockades have met her at every turn. The issue can't be left idle, however. A vote has been called. |

| Nobody is quite sure what what to make of rumors of strange happeneings at a top secret research base in high Saturn orbit, but there's no doubt that something has happened. Rumors vary from a major reactor accident, to contact with an alien race. On the other hand, maybe they're just rumors. |

| Admiral Taggata, vowing to protect Terra from the heinous Exterminators, founded Wiggun Military Academy on Saturn. The Academy specializes in teaching Taggata's special brand of defensive tactics. |
| The Terran trade council announced the trade of H.E.A.D technology for Supercrops and the signing of the Galactic Colonization Improvement Treaty with the Insectoids. Crop yields on Earth have increased as a result. |
| Cocoon Nebula Region |
| After several years of near stagnation, the Majestic empire has started taking action again. |
| The Advisor, so long Queen Isolda of Majestic's favorite, was hauled before the entire court in chains to answer to certain accusations. After a long and painful interrogation and investigation, he was cleared of all charges. Some claim it was a sham trial, while others beleive that there is a Terran or Exterminator plot afoot. Certainly on Majestica, more people support the latter theory. |
| Queen Isolda recuirted a new scientist and commissioned a science ship. Construction also started on a colony ship. The Majestic Militia was also trained into a more proper fighting force. |
| Capperanu has been a very busy system this year, with both the Tribe Armada and a sizable Peacekeeper fleet (under Majestic command) assembling. |
| Tribe leader Audax made a state visit to the trade cities of Cappocea this year. Wherever he went, new video arcades sprung up. "We'll be back to collect the coins later," Audax announced. |

| Cathagalon arrives! Inhabitants of Capocea had a terrible fright at the arrival of the giant space monster known as Carthagalon! This creature, apparently tamed by scientists of the Tribe on an exploration journey, accompanies Tribe visistors to the system. A representative of the Tribe said "He's quite tame, as long as nobody bothers his friends." |

| Traders coming from the Satyr system reported a horrific event. According to the most accurate accounts, an Exterminator Battleship, leading two destroyer groups of unfamiliar design, entered the system and attacked the Satyr station refueling depot. The depot was utterly destroyed. The attackers seemed focused on their objective, completely ignoring trade ships fleeing the wreckage. The loss of the depot has put a great deal of strain on the Ouroboros route, and economists fear a loss of trade income may result. |
| Ilithids waved their tentacles in celebration as the mining station of Ironforge joined the Ilithid empire. Not only does Ironforge provide much needed raw materials, but it gives the Ilithids an additional presence on the Ouroboros route. |
| In keeping with the "law and order" policy, the Ilithids have set up a security team to police Starlight station. A satellite defense grid was also deployed to protect the system. |
| Farstrand Region |
| The Ancient Site Investigations Team has turned up an ancient marker with an interesting inscription. The inscription is note entirely decipherable, but part of it is in a known ancient language, a precursor to Terpsichoran. |
| The inscription is an epic account of the exodus of three races displaced from their home by a planet-destroying disaster. The tale follows one of the races as they journey across the gulf of space seeking a new home. Much of the tale is clearly exaggerated and legendary, involving epic heroes and battles with demons. |
| There is also an interesting dialog with the "gods" who, in this context, may be the Ancient star faring races. These gods are described as weary of the universe, and preparing to leave it forever. |
| Rumors of the strange Black Hole Cult have turned up in the Terpsichore system. |
| Transept Region |
Ominix of Orchera made an important announcement: “The Exterminator’s continue to prowl our Universe for information about us. They still lurk at the edges of what we know. We must come together to stop these creatures. The Orchera captured this Exterminator probe in the Prospero Region. A region that was not attacked in the exploratory Exterminator attack. The Orchera invites all other races to come to Xeriscape to witness and study the Exterminator Probe. We believe that this threat is so dire that all of the young races must come together to protect our future.” |
| The captured probe has been placed on display at the Xeriscape station. All races are invited to come and study the probe. The usual security restrictions for Orcheran bases have been lifted in this case. |
| Ever busy an Tireless, Tendril visited with Gramond and Ousl Terps at the Selenis II Penal Colony to discuss closer economic and political ties. The Terpsichorans, while pleased to continue their current close relations, declined to allow more Orcheran involvement in what they termned "Internal Terpsichoran Matters." |
| Terpsichorans surveyed Selenis III for HE3, but were disapointed. "HE3 belongs to the galaxy. We denouce those races who are hoarding it unfairly," Ousl Terps announced. |
| The situation at the Shrine of the Tree has calmed, but with much of the city in ruins, the population is very restless. Minor skirmished and outbreaks of voilence are still commonplace. |

| The Orcherans released charts of the UEYD system, now fully explored. The system has been renamed Grand Tendril, to honor the Chairman and famous Orcheran leader Tendril. A small colony, named Calyx, has already been established in the system. |
| Widows Gap |
| The Hive and The Terrans improved relations wiht a trade of H.E.A.D technology for Supercrops. The Hive immediately intalled H.E.A.D habitats on the colony in the Ny-Qyll system. |
